Meet Meg Barden-Hyde, State Manager of TG's Child Care!

Updated: Oct 7

Meg Barden-Hyde, State Manager

Meg is an Early Childhood Teacher and the State Manager of TG’s. She has worked for TG’s for over 13 years and joined the TG’s family working at the Uralla service.

Born and bred Urallarite, Meg loves the town she lives in. Her favourite thing to do on the weekend is to catch up with friends over coffee, get creative with arts and crafts, read a book or just relax and center myself. She has a supportive, fun loving and talented family, with three not so little anymore adult children, whom Meg's is so extremely proud of.

As a leader, Meg is passionate about creating a culture of educators who respect all children and uphold the rights of a child. The best part about her job is the people she works with and how children encourage us all to learn along side them. Every day she can feel new and exciting as we develop our sense of belonging to the world together as the TG’s family. Meg loves her job but her dream is to one day buy a beach house, become Lady Meg and live a life of leisure… who wouldn’t right?

A few fun facts about Meg you may not know!

  • Meg's hidden talent is that she can do the splits.

  • Her celebrity crush is Oprah.

  • Lime green is her favourite colour because she feel it's a powerful colour that sparks joy.

  • Her sister-in-law married her brother because she wanted to be Meg's best friend.

  • 'Humble and Kind' by Tim McGraw is Meg's favourite song of all time.
