Lutaina Corley joins TG's Urangan as educator
What Lutania loved doing most as a child was exploring the outdoors and making her own special magic potions with bits of leaves, pretty flower petals and a dried up twig or two to give the potion a bit of flavour! She was always outside, finding things to do. The natural world out there gave her plenty of space for adventures, as well as creative imagination inside her head! She also dreamed of being able to fly as a child, and looking at her now, Lutania has really spread her fairy wings!
So fast forward to the present day and Lutania is still exploring nature and making magic brews but she is doing it with TG’s children who are always up for an adventure or two in TG's beautiful gardens!
Lutaina Corley is an educator at TG's Child Care Urangan. She was born in Papua New Guinea and she is half New Zealander as well! Her circle of love includes her partner and her two greyhounds, Teah Maria and Axel, who love dashing about on the beach and getting Lutania wet!
She started working in childcare in 2018 where she began a traineeship to complete her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education. She is currently actively working towards completing her Diploma of Early Childhood and she is aiming to finish it by the end of this year. Lutania is not one to give up when the going gets tough. In spite of challenging periods, she has not given up on her studies and she is proud of herself for having completed her Certificate III and diving straight into her Diploma.
One of the things Lutania loves most about being an educator is watching the children learn and develop new skills. If you observe keenly, you will see each child's gifts unfolding, and they all have their own unique milestones to be celebrated. For Lutania, children are little energy generators - they never fail to make her laugh and smile and their giggles and smiles give her little bolts of energy through the day.
Children radiate positivity and that is something Lutania herself is also gifted in. She is optimistic, positive, creative and she too loves making people smile and laugh.
It is no wonder that for Lutania, happiness is simply having fun and enjoying life to the fullest. She is always ready to embrace what she has, put her best foot forward and enjoy the bubbles of laughter she hears everyday at TG's when she is with the children. Those would be her special ingredients to make a magic potion for happiness!
Looking at life with a positive mindset is the best way to live.
With TG's Urangan being the newest of TG's six centres, Lutania cannot wait to watch the centre grow and to guide each and every child under her fairy wings to bloom and shine. Every day, she has the opportunity to share the love and warmth she has received with the children and their families.
Fancy a bowl of Lutania's magic potion of happiness, anyone?
