At TG's Child Care, we're like a big family, and we've got a special place in Urangan, Queensland where we play and learn together. TG's takes a big step further to be trusted by families and the communities as the stewardship of children's future. TG's has a long term vision to continue with our lifelong mission of making Playing is Learning for Life not just sustainable but also relevant to the ever-changing modern world. It means giving children the skills and tools they need for sustainable learning while nurturing responsibility, appreciation, care, love, kindness and teamwork. It's about going beyond Big School and continuing Playing It Forward even after they leave TG’s.

Centre Overview
TG's is a super fun early learning centre for children 6 weeks to 6 years old, open Monday to Friday, from 6.30am to 6.30pm. We're here every week, all 52 of them! We have room for 73 friends to join us on this awesome adventure!
Inclusions
TG's has tasty, healthy meals like breakfast, lunch, and snacks to keep us energised for all the playing and learning in our award-winning natural play spaces and gardens. Nappies and sunscreen are also included.
Qualified and Enthusiastic Educators
Our team of qualified and dedicated educators love their work, and they are highly experienced. Educators actively and regularly engage in personal and professional development to further expand their knowledge and skills. They all believe it is a privilege to be able to assist local families in the care and education of their children. You will notice that our Educators are actively engaged with children, developing positive relationships, contributing to the children's belonging, being and becoming.
Ideal Learning Environment
TG's Child Care is a carefully designed and presented environment, with lots of natural materials and play spaces providing experiences to allow children to explore, experiment and discover. Our well-organised environment is welcoming, consistent and predictable, providing a sense of place and purpose for young children. It is vibrant and flexible and allows for children's changing needs, interests and abilities. It invites exploration, interactions, safe risk-taking, discovery, connections to nature, conversations and communication, and lots of fun play.
Settling in
The first weeks are spent being with and listening to the children, planning activities and experiences that speak to them, which allows them to foster ties with other children and the educators. Children are given time to explore their new environment and gently familiarise themselves with their new routine. Our experienced educators are wonderful at settling new children and getting them excited to foster new friendships.
Early Years Learning Framework
We implement the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) as the basis for our Programs. Our daily curriculum incorporate the principles and practises drawn from the EYLF and our educators carefully plan their programs to include the children's current interests, needs, skills and abilities.
Literacy and numeracy activities are part of the everyday routine, and involve the children recognising their own names, writing their names on artwork, listening to stories and poems, counting the number of children present each day, playing number games, and playing music and singing songs that involve active participation.
Our Kindergarten Program incorporating Beach and Bush Kindy includes a school readiness program for the children to further assist them as they transition to school, and also give them the social, emotional maturity and confidence to be able to cope with the everyday demands, and to encourage a life time love of learning.
